We held our June 2026 ceremony outside under the beautiful pine trees, which created the perfect mountain backdrop for saying our vows. Afterward, we enjoyed our cocktail hour in the Tiffany's Bistro before celebrating with our family and friends in Nobles Chamber for our reception. Each space had its own unique charm, and together they made our wedding feel elegant, intimate, and truly unforgettable.
How did our team help you along the way, from booking through the big day?
From the very beginning, the team made the planning process easy and stress-free. Sherri was absolutely amazing—she was kind, responsive, and so easy to work with. She made us feel supported every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. We also truly appreciated Dennis and his flexibility in helping create an incredible cocktail hour. He worked with us to craft a signature cocktail that perfectly complemented our Great Gatsby-inspired vintage theme, and it was a huge hit with our guests. The entire staff was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating, making sure every detail was taken care of so we could simply enjoy our day.
Would you recommend Chateau Big Bear as a wedding venue in Big Bear Lake to other couples? Why?
Absolutely! We would recommend Chateau Big Bear to any couple looking for a beautiful mountain wedding venue. The breathtaking setting, exceptional service, and caring staff made our wedding day more perfect than we could have imagined. We are especially grateful to Sherri and Dennis for helping bring our vision to life and making us feel supported throughout the entire process. Chateau Big Bear will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to returning every year to celebrate our anniversaries.

We had our wedding at Chateau Big Bear Boutique Hotel, and it was an incredible experience to say the least.
The hotel is beautiful, welcoming, and so accommodating to everyone. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. They truly helped make our wedding weekend memorable and enjoyable for everyone.
Sherri and Dennis took our experience over the top with their helpful and professional hospitality. A special thank you to both of them for all they did to make everything feel smooth, personal, and special.
We also really appreciated the breakfast. The food was fresh, delicious, and had options for everyone — even our picky eaters enjoyed it.
I couldn’t be happier with the stay we had. When asked what could be improved for our next stay, honestly, nothing. It was perfect, and we will absolutely be back for future trips.

A Magical Stay and Wedding

Our stay was comfortable and the staff was very helpful especially with the wedding. It was the perfect spot for our outdoor fantasy themed wedding, especially with the big Gothic windows in the reception room we chose. Sherri was super helpful and sweet to work with :)
Yoga Retreat
"Chateau Big Bear was the perfect venue for our yoga retreat celebration. Their communication with us throughout the planning process was very, very good - they were responsive, helpful, and made sure we felt taken care of every step of the way. The quality of their work and overall value was really beautiful. The staff was incredibly attentive and we loved the delicious breakfast they provided. The pool area was so lively and relaxing to sit by, and the decor throughout the hotel was excellent - it was clear they had hired an expensive decorator to create such an elegant and inviting atmosphere. Our yoga retreat weekend at Chateau Big Bear was absolutely perfect, and we would highly recommend this venue to any other yoga retreat looking for a beautiful and stress-free celebration."

Hidden Gem for a Forest Wedding
Absolutely beautiful. Sherri was a dream to work with during the whole wedding planning process. This venue gives you the best value and is so flexible to make your day perfect. They also work with other local Big Bear Lake vendors (cake, flowers, ect.) to make your day go smoothly and stress-free! There was absolutely nothing to worry about and it was the perfect place to make our Big Bear wedding dream come true.
Beautiful and Unique
This venue provides a beautiful and unique outdoor setting. The hotel made sure everything was perfect for me in the days leading up to the wedding; they repainted the arch used in the ceremony as well as the outdoor staircase, planted flowers to make everything look beautiful and most important of all they made sure all my guests were comfortable and content. Sherri was a tremendous help every step of the way and the kitchen staff did an amazing job catering our wedding; even though we had a very specific vegetarian menu. I loved the Moonridge ballroom and all the linens, chairs and decor was set up perfectly for the reception. Everyone stayed until the very end of the night, we even took over Tiffany's Bistro downstairs. I would say that my wedding day could not have been more perfect and I am so very grateful to Sherri and the Chateau Big Bear staff for their job in making my dreams come true!!!
